Nevis Aquatic and Sailing Center is a dynamic non profit dedicated to teaching swimming and sailing to the community of Nevis.
NASC promotes an awareness of the importance of Marine Conservation to the Islands in partnership with C.A.R.E.SKN - Coral Reef Assistance, Restoration and Education.
The Center is located in the sheltered Oualie Bay on the beautiful island of Nevis in the Federation of St Kitts and Nevis.
The Management Board meets on a regular basis to monitor budgets, fees, maintenance issues and develop the calendar of events. Members subscriptions and donations fund the day to day running costs and ensure program fees are accessible to all.
NASC’s fleet includes Optimists, RS Fevas, Lasers, Sunfishes and Hobie Wave Catamarans. Whilst the focus is on learning to swim and sail in a safe and fun environment, advanced swimmers and sailors are encouraged to invest time and energy in improving their technique to competition level. The Center has sent teams to Swim meets and Sail regattas locally and regionally.
